At National level, the institute’s competence is in analysis of National government budgets, revenue raising measures (tax policies, internal and external borrowing) and the role of public finance management in addressing inequalities and stimulating economic development. At the county government level, the institute prides itself in generating high quality budget analysis reports and building the capacity of county governments, civil society organizations and citizens.
