About this role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose electrical problems and perform effective troubleshooting to repair or replace damaged units and components.
- Inspect electrical equipment and circuits regularly to identify safety hazards, maintenance needs, or old wiring requiring replacement.
- Execute wiring plans for lighting, internet connectivity, distribution boards, switches, LV panels, and alarm systems according to technical standards.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machines to maintain operational efficiency and prevent breakdowns.
- Communicate breakdown occurrences and resource/material requirements to the supervisor during shifts.
- Safely operate, use, and maintain assigned tools and equipment while adhering to safety regulations.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation (Preferred), Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial or process plant environment (experience in a food processing plant or similar setting is an added advantage).
- Willingness to work shifts and respond to breakdowns when called upon.
