Employment Information
The Endowment Officer, under the guidance of the Director, shall be responsible for: Establishing the Endowment Office structures, including systems, processes, and operational frameworks. Developing and implementing endowment-related policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures in alignment with University statutes and governance structures. Providing financial and technical support in the formulation and execution of endowment fundraising and resource mobilization strategies. Coordinating endowment financial planning, budgeting, investment tracking, and reporting. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements, and risk management standards applicable to endowment funds. Maintaining accurate financial records of endowment contributions, investments, and fund performance. Preparing periodic performance, compliance, and impact reports for University Management and the Board. Qualifications and Experience The position requires a finance-oriented professional with the following qualifications: A minimum of a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent. At least five (5) years of working experience in fundraising, development work, partnerships, or resource mobilization. Strong analytical, financial reporting, and policy implementation skills. go to method of application »
