Qualification Education, Skills and Experience Must have: Bachelor’s degree in Education Technology, Bachelor of Technology Education (BTech), Instructional Technology, Multimedia or its equivalent from a recognized institution. At least 3 years’ relevant experience working in an University media resource center or instructional technology setting. OR Diploma in Multimedia or its equivalent from a recognized institution. At least 5 years’ relevant experience working in an University media resource center or instructional technology setting. Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of instructional software and audio-visual equipment. Key responsibilities also include Reporting to: Dean, School of Education Duties and responsibilities: Prepare, operate, and maintain facilities and equipment in the Micro-Teaching Laboratory, Media Resource Centre, Language Laboratory, and Geography Laboratory. Provide technical support for teaching practice simulations, including recording, playback, and analysis of sessions. Manage and support Smart Classrooms and ICT-enabled teaching spaces, ensuring reliable use of projectors, interactive boards, and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Oversee acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, and maintenance of media resources in the Media Resource Centre and School Library. Train faculty and student-teachers in instructional technologies, Blackboard (BB) skills, smartboard use, and classroom presentation techniques. Support learners in information retrieval, digital literacy, and academic referencing, integrating e-learning and digital platforms into teaching and learning. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, and manage storage, security, troubleshooting, and maintenance of laboratory and media equipment. go to method of application »
