About this role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems in a wide range of motor vehicles. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently while delivering high-quality workmanship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair and replace wiring, lighting systems, alternators, starters, batteries, ignition systems, and other electrical components.
- Install and maintain vehicle accessories such as alarms, tracking systems, audio systems, reverse cameras, and sensors..
- Test repaired electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate service records and job reports.
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with mechanics and other workshop staff to complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Electrical Engineering, Motor Vehicle Electrical & Electronics, or a related field.
