JOB DESCRIPTION
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
- Weld vehicle chassis, frames, body panels, and other metal components using welding techniques.
- Assemble and fabricate vehicle parts according to production requirements.
- Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Repair defective or damaged vehicle components through welding and fabrication.
- Operate welding, cutting, grinding, and metal fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit metal components accurately before welding.
- Perform finishing work, including grinding and smoothing welded surfaces.
- Maintain welding equipment and report faults or maintenance requirements.
- Follow company health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
- Work closely with the production and assembly teams to achieve daily production targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma in Motor Vehicle Welding, Fabrication, or a related field.
- Proven experience in automotive welding or vehicle assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.
