About this role
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and maintain water supply and drainage systems.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing faults, leaks, and blockages.
- Install new plumbing fixtures, piping, pumps, valves, and fittings.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize plumbing failures.
- Respond to emergency plumbing issues within agreed response times.
- Advise AMSOL on plumbing improvements and water conservation measures.
- Prepare service reports after every assignment.
- Recommend materials and provide cost estimates before major repairs.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with Kenyan safety regulations and building standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing (Grade I, II, or III), Craft Certificate, Diploma in Plumbing, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' practical plumbing experience.
- Experience working in commercial buildings, offices, factories, or institutions will be an added advantage.
