About this role
Job Summary
- NestVest is a property investment platform helping local and diaspora investors in Kenya make smarter real estate decisions through curated investment properties, mortgage affordability tools, area rankings and market insights. We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales team in Nairobi.
- You will be responsible for building a high-performing sales team, driving lead-to-deal conversion, setting sales targets, and ensuring our sales processes align with our data-driven property platform. This is a hands-on leadership role — you will coach, motivate and manage the team while also closing deals when required.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Recruit, train and manage a team of property sales consultants
- Set individual and team sales targets (viewings, offers, deals)
- Run daily/weekly sales stand-ups, pipeline reviews and performance coaching
- Build a performance culture with clear KPIs, incentives and accountability
Sales Process & Conversion
- Own the full sales funnel: lead → consultation → viewing → offer → deal
- Work closely with the Growth and Marketing teams to ensure leads are followed up within 24 hours
- Monitor and improve conversion rates at every stage of the funnel
- Ensure CRM discipline: accurate records, follow-ups and reporting
Market & Product Knowledge
- Deep understanding of Nairobi property market (Kilimani, Westlands, Lavington and investment hotspots)
- Knowledge of mortgage, off-plan, and diaspora investment sales
- Use NestVest data tools (area rankings, affordability calculator) to support clients' decisions
Reporting & Strategy
- Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for management
- Analyse team performance and identify training needs
- Feed market intelligence back to the product and marketing teams
Qualifications & Requirements
Must-have:
- 3+ years of real estate sales experience in Kenya, with at least 1–2 years in a sales leadership/management role
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong coaching, motivation and team management skills
- Excellent English communication (written and spoken); Kiswahili is an advantage
- Customer-focused, resilient and self-driven
- Proficiency with CRM tools and basic reporting (Excel/Google Sheets)
Nice-to-have:
- Experience selling to diaspora and international investors
- Knowledge of mortgage/financing processes in Kenya
- Experience with off-plan/new development projects
- Valid PSV/land-buying agent certifications or estate agency experience
