About this role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting international MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) business.
- Secure international conferences, exhibitions, conventions, corporate events, and incentive travel groups.
- Build and maintain relationships with PCOs (Professional Conference Organizers), DMCs (Destination Management Companies), associations, NGOs, government agencies, and corporate clients.
- Represent the company at international trade shows, roadshows, and industry events.
- Prepare proposals, bids, presentations, and negotiate contracts.
- Achieve revenue targets while maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
- Identify emerging MICE opportunities through market research.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Develop partnerships with tourism boards, convention bureaus, airlines, and other key industry stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ hotel sales experience, including at least 3 years focused on international MICE.
- Proven track record in securing and managing large-scale conferences and events.
- Strong network within international associations, PCOs, DMCs, corporate organizations, and government institutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong understanding of global MICE trends and a willingness to travel internationally.
