About this role
A primary school is seeking an experienced English Teacher to develop learners’ reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
- Assess learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support learners with different abilities and learning needs.
- Maintain lesson plans, assessment records and progress reports.
- Promote positive classroom behaviour and a safe learning environment.
- Participate in school activities and communicate with parents on learners’ progress.
Requirements
- A recognised teaching qualification relevant to primary education.
- At least three years’ experience teaching English in a primary school.
- TSC registration.
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Effective classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to learner welfare and child safeguarding.
