ROLE SUMMARY The ECDE Teacher plays a critical role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young children by providing quality early childhood education and care within a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. The teacher supports the holistic development and well-being of every child, including cognitive, physical, emotional, social, and moral development, through age- appropriate, developmentally responsive activities. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE A Diploma in Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) from a recognized institution will be an added advantage. Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC). At least three (3) years of experience in a similar or comparable position is highly desirable. Demonstrated passion and genuine interest in the well-being and education of young children. Strong classroom management skills. Ability to build warm and responsive relationships with children, parents, and other stakeholders. A team player with a good command of both written and spoken English. Possesses a warm, positive, and friendly attitude. Computer literate, with the ability to integrate ICT into learning activities. Excellent interpersonal skills.
